Since 1996, Jeff Foster has been a freelance web designer. He got into web design while building a promotional website for his musical endeavors, and discovered he rather enjoys the work. Jeff is a former assistant forum leader and channel designer for America Online, where he implemented design changes for AOL's Music & Sound Forum.
Jeff parted ways with AOL in 2000 and began his freelance career with the creation of the award-winning StringDancer Guitar Community. Since then he has designed, hosted and/or managed websites for dozens of happy clients (see sidebar for a sampling of sites Jeff manages today).
"As with music, in web design you
create
something out of nothing. Manipulating electrons
is a lot like playing with the architecture of
a piece of music. That appeals to
me."
Jeff specializes in
developing and managing small to medium-sized websites for
individuals, businesses and organizations.
Customized Perl and PHP software solutions, MySQL
database-driven applications (Wordpress, etc), interactive
online community installations, and storefront
infrastructures are among the available options offered.
Originally designing and hosting websites under the name
FostersWeb, in 2008 Jeff consolidate his brand,
and now all design & hosting is done under the auspices
of StringDancer.com. If interested in
