Dry Red is the duo of vocalist/keyboardist/songwriter Amanda Webb and guitarist/producer Jeff Foster, formed in 2017 as an alternative creative outlet for their shared love of jazz, classical and original music emphasizing timeless lyricism, sophisticated song structure and unbridled improvisation.
Check out their version of “My Heart Will Go On” from the movie blockbuster, TITANIC.

Inspired by great vocal/guitar duos of the past such as Joe Pass & Ella Fitzgerald, Tuck & Patti and others, Dry Red combines the soaring vocal talents of Amanda Webb with the full-spectrum guitar mastery of Jeff Foster.
ORIGINS: Based in Brown County Indiana, Amanda and Jeff first met when Amanda was brought in as a guest vocalist at a concert by Celtica, the self-styled progressive Celtic band in which Jeff was playing at the time. This led to other local collaborations in Amanda’s blues/rock band and in a trio called Acoustic Mayhem with violinist extraordinaire Carolyn Dutton. The genesis of the ‘Dry Red’ moniker comes from their mutual affection for Cabernet wines.
The Musicians
Amanda Webb is a classically-trained vocalist (graduate of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music), keyboardist and songwriter. She can deliver everything from a pure-voiced Celtic tune to classic jazz standards and epic movie themes, as well as rock and blues, with astounding power and grace.
Amanda has been regionally recognized with the South-Central Indiana Blues Society People’s Choice Award, and winner of The Kentuciana Blues Society Blues Challenge.
As the lead singer and songwriter driving the Amanda Webb Band (featuring her husband Brian Webb on lead guitar and vocals), Amanda writes and performs distinctive, high-energy rock and blues tunes.
