My interest in Artificial Intelligence is predominantly in its use in the creation of music. More broadly, the rapid advancement of AI is enthusiastically welcomed by some and deeply feared by others. One thing is for certain, there’s no putting this genie back in the bottle. Humans will no doubt both master certain AI applications, and, sadly, be mastered by its use in other areas of life. In either case, it behooves us to understand the phenomenon as best we can.
